Air Brakes

What kind of Bombing mods are y'all using on your rigs and how do you like them?

I have a 4" JRE exhaust, a VA box and a Boost Elbow. No Boost Module yet #ad
, no injectors yet #ad
. But the good news is this little 5. 9 pulls like a son of a gun #ad
! Plenty of power and we get pretty good fuel economy - 12 - 12. 5 mpg with 21,650 GCVW running 75 - 80 mph. I don't know how much power I really need but a set of those Bully Dog re-manned injectors sure sound nice...

After towing my trailer stock, I realized I needed help. My truck is now BOMBed. I haven't towed since but I know what I have now will make a big difference. If it doesn't make a big enough difference, I will add injectors or PE EZ or both. #ad

Guages first. Know what the truck is doing. Exhaust is next. Get rid of the heat. A timing/fuel box that is easy to connect. ie: VA/PNP, EZ, Bully Torq. Dog etc. That should be enough for most towing scenarios. If auto equiped, address that early on to keep the unit cool. Remember to upgrade the rear end fluid and last but certainly not least, an Ebrake is sooooo niiiiicccceeeee. Happy Camping.....

KMan, Were have you been? I have not heard from you in a while You know what i am running and i did put some boost and EGT gauges on to see what thing are doing. And it pulls real nice.

I'm using a Banks Stinger Plus,Pyscotty air unit and BD e-brake on my 3500 with 28k loads.
Have all the power I need and don't feel I need more. Does that mean I'm a reformed bombaholic?Or do I just know my limit?

Joe, I've just been reading the posts and stayin'busy. Actually, some of the topics on the BB have been on things I didn't really want to jump in on. I thought this topic might get things going a little.

I guess I'm going to have to get a set of gauges. Of course, I didn't have any gauges on my '95 Chevy and as hard as I ran that thing it should have melted down!!
