Hi- first of all, this is my first post here at the TDR forums. I've been reading these things for months, and finally picked up a used truck & performed some "boost" modifications per the member's recommendations. Thanks for the help!
Secondly, I work for a Jeep dealer in the San Francisco Bay Area, and occasionally get some DC "inside" info - which I will keep all of you up to date with... . it seems most of you find out and post it here before I ever hear of it. .
You may have already heard this tidbit, but tonight, at a tech-tips meeting, I found out that DC is coming out (or already has) with some performance ECM's for the 98-99 24v Cummins. These from what I understand *will* void the drivetrain warranty, but the engine warranty will still be intact. I was unable to get p/n's or prices this evening, but they may already be available from your local dealer.
I dunno if this is the same ECM available from Cummins, but there were approx. 5 different DC part numbers listed. Maybe someone else knows more already???...
