Mopar Turn signal tow mirrors

I saw a MOPAR description on a WEB site and it stated that these mirrors are for 2002-2005 Ram 1500, 2500, 3500 trucks.

2002 1500's not 2500's or 3500's. 2003 and up 2500's and 3500's only the new body style.

Those look like the CIPA/MagnaVision mirrors I have - except I don't have the blinker. Any vibration problem? The pass side on my truck shakes so bad I'd send them back but I only paid $25 for the set.....

Yeah that is what I thought they were, CIPA. I am pretty sure that they are, they don't say CIPA anywhere on them and they have a dodge ram emblem etched into the mirror. Plus I haven't seen the lighted ones on CIPA web site.

Sorry that the pics are low quality, I will try to get some pictures from a good camera, but on the shaking issue, I haven't seen them move one bit, I hope that I don't, they seem to be a sturdy mirror!?

I'd be interested in seeing a bigger picture. One thing that's always annoyed me on our mirrors is the placement of the spot mirror on the oustide corner of the mirror.

The mirrors I have have the cut-out for the signal - it just wasn't available at the time I guess.

Snoxracer, I would like to know how far the mirrors extend out? If you would, measure straight out from the door window to the outside of the mirror glass, I want to compare the distance with the OEM mirrors. Thanks,

Hey Yogi, I measured them the other day when I put them on to see for myself, when they are fully extended the measure 21 inches to the end of the mirror and almost 21 1/2 inches to the edge. I don't remember what the stock ones measured when they were tipped out, but I think that the OEM mirrors were 2-3 inches narrower. Hope this help!!

Snoxracer, where are the spot mirrors located on these? On my OEMs, on the drivers side measures 19 3/4", pass side 18 1/4", thats to the outboard side of the mirror glass.

The glass area is 10. 5"x9. 5".

From the traingular mounting bracket, the edge of the mirror is 24" away.

There is a 4. 5" length of travel.



These look really nice, they are oriented more up and down than the stock ones, in the non tow position.



I sold 2 sets to techs who work here already.

May I please ask for a clarification? I am interested in knowing the distance from the triangular mounting bracket to the outer edge of the mirror in both the collapsed and fully extended positions. You state the edge is 24" away and the travel is 4. 5". Do you mean 24" to the outside edge in the collapsed position and 28. 5" in the fully extended position?

Sorry for the miscommunication. Fully extended, it is 24" from the triangle mounting "plate". It would be 19. 5" in it's "closed" state.

Is there any extra wiring or do the OE harnesses have provisions to work the turn signals? I'd like to see some better pictures too. What is the group price?

I put a set of those cipa/bestop mirrors on my '02 and they worked good, but I still couldn't see around my very wide camper. The factory flip out mirrors on my '04. 5 give a better view around the camper, and they don't shake as much as the cipas. I'm kinda dissapointed that they didn't just add the feature to the stock flip out mirrors.
