Fuel Tank Straps replacements are not manufactured but there is hope!

rear drum brake wheel cylinder actuator pins

These things are getting harder and harder to come by! All of the junkyards in the Raleigh, NC just look at me and chuckle when I ask if they have any to scavenge from! I'm searching for:

Front Coil Springs, NAPA has gotten the wrong ones for me twice, no 'S' in the part number. I just need to correct about 1 3/4" sag in the front end, not jack it way up. Any suggestions? Will the MOOG spring do as well? I just want to level the truck up!

Water-in-fuel sensor assembly, the part that screws into the fuel filter. Dealer says he can't get it. I need one as mine is plastic, cracked and has a slow drip under pressure.

I replaced the 30 gallon fuel tank float/sensor a while back (twice) and it still registers wrong. Dealer gets the same part each time, for a 25 gallon GAS tank. I have a 30 gallon diesel. . at half full with this sensor, seems I only have around 10-12 gallons in the tank. The float on the new one has two 'sensor bands' on it (silver colored) the old one had three sensor bands, brass colored.

Gaskets for the stock fuel lift pump. . I got a new pump, no gasket in the box. Dealer says he can't get them anymore. The old one was a rubber type, I have fiber gasket material... will that work as well if I cut one out?

Electrical Connector on the wire going TO the KSB Solenoid. The plastic connector cracked and the metal prongs have corroded away. Now what metal is left won't stay on the male connector prong of the solenoid Probably need to get a new solenoid also, just in case. Dealer can't find either part listed.

Speakers for the left/right doors. Again, dealer is no help, and so far the aftermarket ones I have found, don't fit the stock door opening.
Any help greatly appreciated!

Left front fender. <SIGH> had a disagreement with a Honda a few years backm and got dented just a bit behind the corner of the bumper. Caused a slight buckle in the finder over the left front wheel. If pulling/pushing the dent out doesn't get rid the warp, I'll have to replace the fender.

Grill surround. The JC Whitney part chrome peeled in about a year. Also it did not have the DODGE name on the top front. Dodge says they can't get it anymore. Any sources?

I've got more needs, but this is a good start. I put in new (Suburban seats.com) leather buckets/console and am really happy with them after almost a year. Also new carpet/headliner. This is a daily driver w 280,000 on it, and I want to keep it running!

Hi Richard. Don't know if you've gotten any replies yet, doesn't look like it. I'll see if I can give you at least some ideas.

Water in Fuel Sensor - Not many dealers have them, but I'm told they CAN still order them, or I also found them here: FLEETGUARD - REPLACEMENT WATER-IN-FUEL SENSOR (89-96 DODGE)-Dodge Cummins and Ford Power Stroke Diesel Truck Accessories - Geno's Garage

Gaskets for fuel lift pump - Probably best source is Cummins. They have most of these gaskets still. I had to order one recently for the filter/heater assembly and they had them and they were inexpensive.

Fender - I'm keeping my eyes out for a good source for a right one, mine's got a dent and significant rust. There are places where you can get them, but I haven't had much luck finding ones as good as the originals. Places to look are Truck Accessories, Truck Parts, Dodge, Ford, Chevy, Jeep at Browns of Two Rivers or US Auto Parts Network, Inc. - USAutoParts.com, or maybe check at a local body shop. These links may also help with the grille.

Speakers - You should be able to find ones that fit. Check at local aftermarket installation shops for ideas or do a search online for replacement speakers for you truck.

Hopefully this gets you started.

For the lift pump gasket, any small/big block Chrysler gasket will fit. I stuck aftermarket 6X9 speakers in my doors.

Thanks, and still looking

Thanks for the help guys. WIF sensors are ordered from Geno's. Don't know WHY I didn't look there before. I've ordered other things from them. I guess I got so used to seeing parts availability stopping at the 94 models...

I'll try some different aftermarket 6x9 speakers in the doors. The two pairs I got were way to 'thick' to fit behind the door panel.

And, I've called once, and calling back to Two Rivers to see what they have. I'm hoping for a grill surround (with DODGE on it) they list several. I know my original was Argent, but frankly, I don't know what argent is... I just want it to be chrome, have the name on it, fit and NOT peel!

Like I said in my original post, this is a daily driver. I'm not really interested in hopping it up any... but that being said, I've heard several folks have changed out the stock lift pump for piston pumps.
What/how/why? Electric or what? Any advantages/disadvantages to either? I have 280,000 on this one, and it has started 'clicking' so I know it is afixin' to go.

Also, this morning, the clutch had NO play in it... then it did. Checked the reservoir, seem full. The Clutch disc/pressure plate have about 50,000 miles on them, all highway with very little pulling over the last 3-4 years (sold the boat). I suspect something in the hydraulics. Any thought as to what would make the pedal 'hang' on at the bottom, then release quickly and seem fine the rest of the day? It happened yesterday and this morning. Temps were around 29 degrees the first time, 54 the second time. Pushed the pedal to the floor, shifted, started to release and felt like it 'hung up on something', clutch felt like it wanted to engaged at the very bottom of the pedal strok, so I pushed it back to the floor, let it off slowly then felt a slight 'click or pop' and the pedal released and all is well... or so it seems.
Found nothing 'visibly wrong' under the dash or under the hood, and no fluid leaks near the transmission...

For the speakers I had 6x9s in my doors that were thick and I just installed them on the backside of the inner metal door panel (speaker completely inside door cavity). A little bit of a pain, but they fit fine and sounded better than the destroyed stockers... .

Now I have a set of Pioneer 5 1/4 seperates and they fit on the front of the inner door panel just fine under the upholstry panel.

I can't get to my truck to look, but I thought the KSB connector was just a 1/4" spade connector. I would go to Napa and get ta little bag of the good crimp on terminals to replace it with. The fully shrouded heat shrink type. I haven't really heard of needed to cary a spare KSB, now a shutdown solinoid, that should be in your glovebox with the right wrench... .

check out crutchfield.com they will definitely let you know which speakers will fit the truck; dealerships are worthless concerning the 93 and older. I have found O'reilly's seems to stock or can get odd ball parts. If you are referring to vacuum pressure switch sensor the 7.3L model 90s year fords had the same part. If you can find one of those online, hold onto your mounting bracket, because you will need to reuse it.
