It must carry the API CK4 or CES20086 in order to use it. I am not aware of any diesel 5w30 oil that meets either standard.
You'll have to go to 5w40 if no 10w30.
Amsoil seems to have plenty of oil in stock. Shoot me a PM if you want any pricing info.
The 5w-40 Amsoil I just bought is on par with Rotella 5w-40 price wise.
There are several 5w-30- Diesel oils that meet CK-4/CES20086. Amsoil DHD, Delo 400 XSP, and Rotella T6 come to mind. Thou there aren't any 5w-30's listed in the owners manual, but the owners manual also only "recommends". Likely not a big deal, but is it worth it? Not much gain winter wise.
Amsoil DHD does meet MS-10902 as well. Shell and Delo don't list it, but may be worth an email if you find that oil on the shelf.
So of those 3 the Amsoil seems the safest as it meets all the specs listed by Ram and is close to the recommended viscosity.

Interesting, the Amsoil DTT 10w-30 meets CES20086 and CK-4, but not MS10902. I may email Amsoil about that as MS10902 is the spec in the owners manual.

.
The only trouble is an 6.7 Cummins oil Filter that AMSOIL wouldn't ship at the time I ordered the oil.

Amsoil emailed back stating that the spec was added on 4/9/21 and will be on the next revision of the data sheet.
