Tractors? pshaw...lets do it the old way.

Post pictures of your motorcycle

Ok!! I finally made some decisions. I will get a Cruiser between 750 & 1100 cc's. I have sat on many 750 shadows in the last week. And with a drag bar and the right seat is very comfortable for me!! Even at 6'3" and 245. I am NOW LOOKING FOR A DEAL!!

Do you guys think the price of used bikes go down in the off season OR not really?

I can find some real clean 750's with 4,000 or less miles for around $4500.

THe 1100's are a different story. I have trouble finding one in the $4500 range regardless of miles. Is this normal?

By the way I am just shopping Honda Shadows. I really like there reliability and the ease of getting parts. Do you guys/gals have preferences or reasons I should not get a 750?

Thanks!

Each his own but I wouldnt ride anything smaller than a 1000 . Most everyone around my area are riding GoldWings , Harleys or those Kawasakis with the hardbags on them ( cant remember what model that Kaw is ). And you will find better deals in the winter . People arent pay top dollar on ebay right now . I have two KZ 1000 P and since I got a 03 Harley FLHTPI - I dont know how I ever drove those Kaw's . Oh and I am 6'1 and about 240 .

That kawi you refer to is the Concours.

Great bike. My first.

Buy bikes in the winter for best price. They climb around March.

1000cc or larger. 750 is OK if all you do is putter around in the city, but the extra power you get with the larger displacement is often needed to get out of hairy situations.
