Motorcycle tire expert needed

Need tires for my HD Sportster 1200. Mostly cruising but some long distance riding too.



Question: What happened to Continental K112 tires? They are available on special order only. No one stoocks them The K112 and RB2 were factory tires on BMW's for years and years, had them on my BMW's. Excellent tires, good wet traction and long lasting. What made them fall out of favor?



Are the new tires better ot just "cooler" names? I. E. , "Viper" etc.



What gives? I want K112's but need to make sure they are still as good as they once were.



After riding 2 1/2 hours in the rain yesterday my nearly smooth rear tire has moved to the front burner as far as priorities again.

Give Motorcycle Accessory Warehouse a look on google. They had the best selection of tires for my cruiser... sorry I can't tell you if they had the Connie's that you're looking for because I put Dunlops on mine.

Most everone around my area are running Dunlops Eleite II on their Harleys.
