My buddy is wanting to have foldable motorized mirrors, the same that is on the Gen 4 rigs, for his 2004 SRW 3500. He has to replace one of his mirrors currently and would like this convenience if anybody knows this product exists. His truck currently has the OEM heated/electric mirrors.

Thanks for the help.

Thanks for both of your replies Oz and Scott. I will check out the mirrors from the link and forward onto my buddy. Stay safe out there.

Those are really nice Oz. https://www.1aauto.com/dodge-ram-15...5OhwEXI8Wmd2n42-M_YbxTvObJPRV5RhoC04wQAvD_BwE

I take it that when they say power "folding", they mean the whole thing folds against the truck for parking right? I also wonder about what kind of switch they use or do they just fold when it shuts off?
Great looking products though.

Scott

Yes thats the one that @mwilson has, I've the one without power fold.
There is a switch with the kit, check the pictures and the videos in your link.

I know this is old but I just found it.

The 1aauto are manufactured by a company here in the US. They come with a harness, switch and everything needed for the install.

Took me 4 hours to do because you have to run the cabling through the door jam tubing and that takes some time as well as digging into the dash to run everything.

In the end I located my button in the center dash of my 2012 and am really happy with where it's at. They also have a lifetime warranty against defects. Just make note that the driver side moves slower than the passenger. They also need to be fixed into a keyed on 30amp fuse. I stacked to my factory fuel pump because I have a fass and it has its own harness and setup.

Just curious, why a key-on power supply? My mirrors work with the key off.

I kinda wish I had it to do over. I would like to have the power folding mirrors but years ago I bought OEM tow mirrors and had them painted - so I'm kinda stuck.

Not sure. I used to have mine on just the battery and they seemed to get slower.over time. Instructions said to find a keyed on 30amp so I did and they work great and have had them for 5 years now.
