Not the way I wanted to End my Sunday!!!

We have a bunch of these at work and they all new new rechargable batteries. Any idea where I can get them local?

I checked Radio Shack...

Check in the yellow pages. We have a place called Batteries Plus that rebuilds the rechargable. Usually cheaper and more amp/hours than new.

Grainger carries some Motorola parts, you might check to see if they can get them if you have a branch in your area.

Mark convince them to buy new radios. the cost will save you in the long run. In milford I am running their XV2600's We bought a set of 6 for the wilton property. within 4 months the radios would not hold out on a simple 8 hour workday. they would die out about 3:00 ish. Spent 160 bucks on batteries from Maintenance warehouse and got all new motorola batteries ... they lasted 5 months.

Are the batteries AA size? Mine are and I use NiMh. They are going on 2 years of use.

NiCd develop a memory charge and fail quick. You can get them almost anywhere.
