2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Mounting driving lights on bumper?? PIAA vs KC?

I was thinking of mounting some KC slimlines or PAII 520 on the bumper of my 3500. I was going to drill them into the bumper to mount them. Has anyone done this before? I really don't want a big bar set up. Small bar or bracket is OK. I don't want to cut the air dam as I see some require. I have lights in the air dam. Any pros or cons on either make for durability and lighting power?

I see KC is 100 watts and PIAA 85 but on youtube PIAA looks better. Fog vs driving lights how far does fog light add light?

Was thinking of sport headlight mod but wiring harness melting put me off it for now.

I have some huge dual lamp PIAA's on top of my bumper. Their fogs have a sharp cutoff and I use as regular 'driving' lamps, they are very intense and don't offend others. The fogs save me on wet, dark roads !
