Programing Key Fob??

3500 Air Bags

Looks like it might be the winter to give the winch some TLC and corrosion control, but luckily it lives indoors most the year and it’s not as bad as it looks.

Minimal airflow blockage to the CAC.

Looks good a warn I think how many pound pull. We use to have them on work pickups back in the day rarely used them but when you need one you need it badly. Better to be a little over ready

What ever compressor I highly recommend 100% duty cycle.

That's how I purchased pumps in the past, but not anymore. I ran a ViAir 450C for years, but it was SLOW. I never came close to the duty cycle of the 400C even with the slower fill rate of the 450C, so my current pump is a 400C.

It's fast, much faster and I'm still nowhere near the duty cycle even filling all 4 tires from 45/25 to 65/80.

Bottom line, buy a pump that's rated for what you need and will get the job done in decent time.

Despite all my naysaying over the last 4 years I have to say that the 3.73's are a pretty good gearset with the 6.7 and Aisin. I like them in every gear.

The '22 does a better job at low speed towing up a steep grade. In the '18 I'd have to lock it in 1st to keep the trans temp down, but the '22 doesn't seem to run as hot on average (it can, but was harder to get there) and will even lock the torque converter below 20 in 2nd so it cools off fast.

Empty mileage at 75-80 seems to be the same too, so no complaints from me.

I cant believe I didn't notice till now, but did you hood come with that black stripe or did you add it?

I was perusing the post as I'm still looking at ordering one and Costco's invoice price is still not working, and saw it.

Knocking on 6K miles. I have towed some each tank since hitting 500 miles, just over 56% of the time. I’m really liking the way it drives and tows.

She is in horrible need of a bath after 2 different elk hunting trips, and a family trip to the mountains for thanksgiving. The wife and I will be doing a road trip in December so I should probably wash her up before that. I’m also going to put the stock tires/wheels back on to save the ST Maxx’s for hunting.

Anyone who has said the 19+ trucks are DEF thirsty wasn’t joking. It’s looking like towing economy will be ~375 mpg (vs ~500 on the ‘18). Too soon to tell on empty economy.

For the thanksgiving trip I was pretty close to 50:50 on #1 fuel (had it left over from camp and it can get cold where we went). The decrease in fuel economy was evident.

My last fillup had a DTE of 13 and took 47.7 gallons. So it looks like there will be ~1 gallon left at DTE:0. That’s a pretty small cushion, but I was curious.

As of my last fillup she’s averaging 11.2 mpg on diesel and 457 mpg DEF, with an average speed of 29.2. The average speed will go up the further it gets from hunting season.

I thought I had a lot of miles in one year at 12 k and your already at 6 k amazing. My fuel economy went up a lot when the camper came off. Also my winter fuel additive seemed to help . It’s parked in the garage now. Battery’s plugged in. 5 above zero now. Retired but no where to go now.

Sounds just about like my 20.. I bite the fuel bullet since otherwise the truck is an animal.

Fuel use isn’t really all that different than the ‘05 or ‘18 under most circumstances. I need to get some empty miles on her to see how she does.

I took delivery of it just before my highest mileage time of the year, and had to do an extra thousand miles on top of that because dad wasn’t able to pickup or return the horses.

It’ll balance out to roughly 15K a year. My goal is to age out and mileage out the 8yr/125K mile max care warranty at the same time, which is 15.6K miles a year and pretty close to my average the last 4-5 years.
