I’ve had my 4x4 Sprinter for 10 years and it’s been great. (Contrary to the horror stories you hear on Sprinter Source)

Just remember it isn't built as an offroad vehicle compared to a pickup truck.
The 4x4 Sprinter is made and designed for bad road conditions like snow and ice or light gravel roads. Not for anything else or it will fail, an 8" differential isn't made for abuse.

It is built for European roads and maximized payload vs. dry weight demanded by european driving license limitations to GVW of 3500Kg. Everything above needs sort of a CDL which costs thousands of Dollars to obtain.

Yeah definitely a LD rig that can handle some weight, but not abuse. It will see its fair share of dirt roads, but no wheeling or really rough roads.

Airing down seems to be more important on these things.

Sure is, and thank God they are tiny, so it is a speedy process up and down.

This is true on every rig. I need to learn about the TPMS on the sprinter, but it has a setting option in the menu so maybe it will like lower pressures until I get it a bit heavier.
