I also threw 2 different size tire and wheels under it to look at ride height to suspension geometry and body disagreements.

I like the 20 inch wheels look as far as the way they fill the wheel well and absolutely hate the 18's in that place.

I do not want any of that nonsense low rider rubbing stuff though. I don't want to worry about turning lock to lock or rubbing at really high speed so there's gonna have to be compromise somewhere besides ride height at high speed.

6 inches off the ground is really pushing the limit of actually being able to use an under body sheeting to create a venturii to add unsprung weight with out physical weight or added drag.

I don't like either style of wheels these are just for size and functionality checking.

I do like the width in the front with the 2 smaller tires side by side. I can easily narrow the frame to allow for that.

Hi Charlie,

Do you have any recent updates? I know there's a lot going on right now so no pressure. I'm just am interested in seeing the progress.

Thanks

Man this whole virus thing has screwed up my plans big time! I had to put everything on a solid hold because this is a personal build and the money just isn't coming in to confidently spend money on parts.

Currently I'm looking for an investor to allow the build to run and turn around and sell it after it's thoroughly tested.

I'm in a position to continue the work if the money comes but the floating issues will be getting the machine shop to keep up because I'll focus solely on this vehicle since business is at a stand still with no relief in sight at the moment.
Thanks

Bumpity bump. So some good news in the valley of the shadow of death. I will have patient pending numbers in a few days on the heart and soul of turning sleds into rockets.

Sadly I'm forced to build the first unit for a 2013 with electric switching which means this truck may have to become a transvestite and show a common rail under the skirt . Not what I want but if I had the money I'd provide a portal for all to go back to 1977 and cup Dolly Parton too. Is what it is. So let the new crap breed with more Americanized products or whatever.

Good news is forward motion on a bad ass product with intellectual property protected by the US government.
