I gotta look at mine. I swear I had the option of installing the muffler in either direction.
Of course, I have slept between then and now.....

As I posted earlier, it looks like that option is available on the 5" system but not the 4" one. The 4" system (as noted by Wayne) has the hangers welded to the muffler.

Well I had a window to install Friday afternoon. Aside from measuring twice and cutting twice the extension pipe before the muffler, this was a good install. The sound is mellow but pronounced. It's great so far. On the highway, I think I have more power than with the Dyno max, and it's actually quieter over 2000. One thing I did was reuse the old tip with a step band clamp. The supplied tip is just too nice for around here, and I'm afraid it'll get taken, and I don't want to tack it on. Thanks again for all the replies and to Geno's for quick and professional service!

Glad to hear that you are happy with it. I always hesitate to recommend products unless I'm 100% sure of their quality. I'm happy that it worked out this time.

MarkEagle and Wayne, Am I allowed to claim old age is hell here....? You guys were absolutely right about the muffler only going on one way. Crawled under there and looked. Getting under was easy... getting back out..... well, that took awhile... Anyway, I coulda sworn I read it could be installed either way but I'll be dipped in poop if the hangars only go one way. I stand humbly corrected.
