Attention: TDR Forum Junkies
To the point: Click this link and check out the Front Page News story(ies) where we are tracking the introduction of the 2025 Ram HD trucks.

Thanks, TDR Staff

Competition Ouch - expensive day

Off Roading Running without the sway bar

the parking lot of lee's inn was definatly the place to be at nite. everyone partied hard and got a long well. the burnouts and street racing was a lot of fun to watch.

The street activity may be done at Muncie as it is, I think we pushed law enforcement too hard this year.

There will be complaints from locals, no doubt, and more arrests next year, if it stays there.

Okay for the important stuff now, who de-throwened me as the winner of the Show-N-Shine over 30K ? :) I look at some pics seemed like there was more flames this year : )

BBD

BBD...

Show n shine was changed and lumped us all into one single groups(Best Dodge,Best Ford,Best Work Truck,Best Chevy,Best Re-power) and had only one mileage stipulation, over 10,000 miles to compete(or you were supposed to anyway, this one was tested).

So since I seen no posting of the show-n-shine winners I can only offer the names of the Dodge's as I did not get the names of the others. No over 30k show-n-shine awards were handed out. So here are the Dodge winners for your question asked.

Best Dodge TiM 04...

1st Place..... TS Performance's 01 Drag Truck

2nd Place... . Banshee's 04 H/O

3rd Place... . Hammer's 100,000 mile 98 daily driver

Doc Tinker has the award photos posted already in another thread. Here is a link to them if you didn't see them yet... ... Andy

So many good memories in Muncie..... some are a bit foggy, though. :-laf

Got my room booked at beer central for TiM '09.

I'm really looking forward to it - hope to see everyone there!

Beers,

Matt

1st time on the TDR in almost 6 months... wow - that's some kind of record for me.

It's great to read this, again. I was at that TiM & remember Big Jake's infamous burnout, flame out the tailpipe, & all. All you could see was the flame & a faint outline of the rearend of his truck buried in all the smoke (where's the EPA when you really need them????) when it circled by.

I've since gone back to work, full-time, & can't get the time-off to go across the country for these events. Sure do miss them, though!!! Lots of fun!!! I attended Scheid's Diesel event in Terre Haute, IN. & the Turbo Diesel Nationals in Columbus, IN. in '02. Great time, also. A lot of people & trucks at all these events.

Thanks for bringing this back to the top. It was fun to read, again, & remember.
