"happy camper" because camping season is here, not so much for mowing.
We went out to our boondocking spot for one night last evening. Too nice to stay in the house. Sitting under the awning right now watching one of my daughters shoot her bow.
Now that’s what life’s all about.
Topic on Twitter now is how Bristol Tn hotels are gouging hotel rates for the race this weekend. Another issue escaped when RVing.
Oh they definetly responded. They’re likely starving and the drop off in attendance (do you see!) is causing them to gouge to make ends meet. I can’t believe how empty it is there right now! There's a discussion about the same thing on one of the RV sites I frequent. Empty seats at Bristol as far as the eye can see but ticket prices and hotel costs haven't responded.
Sounds like my luck. Ol' Murphy and his law...When going from bad to worse. Finally got the trans fluid changed after chasing 2 gaskets from Genos. Seems the Post Office and Fed Ex express might be using the new math or it's the head up the arse syndrome. Post office lost the first one when they sent it to the wrong Post Office with a different zip code. It was suppose to be here Monday. arrived Friday. Mean while Scott (A great guy) overnight reds another gasket. Fed Ex delivers to 371 and not 369 I found out Saturday. It was suppose to be here Friday. Truck has been down a week at this point. Saturday now and the trans is all buttoned up, 16qts of fluid later ready to drive to the station, Diesel now 2.89 up 10 cents overnight. Fill the truck and aux. tank and drive home to recheck fluid. I leave the truck running and proceed to the front and there is a lot of fluid on the ground and pouring off the air dam. On the way home I noticed the FP gauge reading 11 at idle instead of 15 and the filter came to mind at first. I found the leak as it was my 20 year old pressure sensor shooting out of one of the terminals. Check around and not made anymore (0-16psi) and an internet search for westach 387-16v-2c turns up nothing. Went to genos and ordered an ISSPRO unit. Just what I want to do is start changing gauges but there is no way I want to drive with out a FP gauge. All I can hope for now is that I get it and it does not get lost or delivered to the wrong place.
Thanks Wayne. Everything I do is sheer will power no energy or stamina involved and they are going to give me another man killer shot April 25th and another 6 months from then. The first post cancer PSA came back at .01 so no cancer reading yet. They want that test every 3 Months. It has gotten to the point that I know things have to get done like the burnt fluid in the trans so I just make myself do it. Pretty petered out after about 2 hrs tho. Just take my time and do what I can then do some more the next day or so. It would be a lot easier if these brain dead individuals could follow a shipping label tho.
That's a big 10/4. People around here think I am crazy doing this stuff instead of taking it somewhere. I have been like this my whole life and like you say, I know it was done right and I went the extra mile.I know it is hard for you at this point on your medication. But, there is nothing more satisfying than doing a job yourself and knowing it is done correctly.
