Ok installed a mystery switch as per the TST instructions:

Here

with the addition of a LED and diode including the jumper in the PDC.

Well everytime I start my truck the check engine light comes on with codes

P0622 (G) Generator Field Not Switching

Properly

An open or shorted condition detected in the generator

field control circuit.

P1765 (M) Trans 12 Volt Supply Relay CTRL

Circuit

An open or shorted condition is detected in the

Transmission Relay control circuit. This relay supplies

power to the TCC

P1765 (M) Trans 12 Volt Supply Relay Ctrl

Circuit

Current state of solenoid output port is different than

expected (4-speed auto. trans. only).

I can clear the code but any time the ignition is on for more than 10 seconds it sets itself again. Just wondering if anyone else has run into the jumper causing this problem?

Switch

This is basically how I initially had mine wired up except I didn't use a diode. No problems except that I wanted to wire in 2 LED's so I could tell when the converter was locking and if I had my mystery switch on. I used a 12 volt relay for this. Works good also. If I remember correctly, i read somewhere that some trucks would throw codes when using a mystery switch. Not sure why.
