source for gear on slide out gear box internal striped some teeth and slide makes loud bang bang bang stops blows fuse . After tare down of gear box found striped gear four or five bad teeth don't want to buy the gear box will do the fix at home.

If you are friendly with a machinist, it would probably be an easy gear to make.
