Need advice on my stock stereo cd player please

Anyone no what the output wattage is on my 03 stock stereo cd player. it is the st model nothing fancy. I want to switch out the speaker to try to improve the sound. The stock ones brake up and vibrate. Thanks for any info you can provide.

not sure what the wattage output is... . but I changed my factory speakers on my 06 model for the same reason... just overall crappy sound.

I called Crutchfield and talked with one of their sales reps... even if you don't buy from them, they can give you some insight as to what to look for in a speaker...

I THINK you would want to look for a speaker with a high sensitivity rating number. I put the Infinity speakers in all 4 doors, not sure about which model, but I remember it was the only Infinity speakers that would fit the stock locations.

I upgraded my stock speakers to Sony's (with Stock radio) and the speakers rattled more, there is not enough power to drive the upgraded speakers. I put the stock back and sounds better. If you upgrade don't cheap, buy at least a amp to drive the front door speakers.
