I want to check the timing on my truck, from what I can see it would be good to have an extra sealing washer for the delivery valve.

Anyone know the part number?? The cummins dealer here said he doesn't have a breakdown of the 7100 pump.

If it will help other folks here some part numbers:

timing pin (TDC pin) - 3903924

timing pin o-ring - 3913994

oil drain plug gasket - 3923096

The drain plug gasket was $3. 62 compared to the almost 9 bucks at the dealer!

Is that part # for the washers underneath the DV assembly or is it for the rubber o-ring that seals the DV holder to the pump?

Even Bosch shops could not come up with a part # for just the o-ring.....

Matt

I see two different numbers for the delivery valve washer in the above postings.

When I adjusted my timing, I did not replace the washer. I left it in during the test and adjustment and re-torqued the delivery valve to it when completed.

I figured all it could do is leak and, if so, I would then replace it.

Thanks Guys!!

As usual the help is abundant on this site!

I went to the local shop that rebuilds pumps and got the parts from him.

Don't know if the price is good or not but here they are FYI:

2 410 101 014 sealing washer - 1. 40

2 410 210 033 oring - 2. 90

I REALLY appreciate the help! Now if I can get my tractor running and out of the garage so I can attempt this!

Dan

the prices quoted 2. 90 and 1. 40 are list price, they can discount if they want to (key being want to). Anytime you need a Bosch number let me know, I'll do my best to find it for you.

I'd like to get a boatload of the delivery valve o-rings.....

It would make DV swaps a lot easier... .

I have a set of DV's in my pump now that I would like to take out, but have yet to find a local place that can get me the o-rings.....

Matt

I've never had to replace the DV washer in the timings I've done.

I had one O-ring come apart and had to replace it. Yeah, about $2. 90 is right. Then they added about $4 for shipping! I found one in the local hardware store that worked OK until I got the stock one. I decided to bite the bullet and replace it with a stock one for fear of leakage.

One other step a Bosch shop told me to do before re-installing the DV valve: lightly resurface the face of the valve by doing a few figure-8s on a piece of 1500 grit sand paper with few drops of oil. Do it on a piece of glass (window works) for a good, flat surface.

FWIW,

-Jay

Hey McDowra

I'll keep that in mind and Thanks for the part numbers!

The shop was wondering what my pump numbers were until I showed them the part numbers you supplied. Made that a lot easier!
