Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) need some help!!!!!!

hey guy need some help. got a call from my brother to day he said he heard a loud pop. and he is leaking a lot of oil. so i he drove the truck down. and you guessed it. that dam pin fell out before i got a chance to secure it. cracked the the cover real good. does any one out there have a used cover? please pm if you do thanks, ED

Not many people have a gear case just laying around. When I did mine in 02 it cost somewhere around 500 dollars, give or take some.

Ouch!..... Mine went when I had no computer for a year (Pac Bell junk)

Had no idea My trusty old cummins could do such a nasty thing

I *****ed to the dealer, I only had to pay for the labor. 1500. 00

With a little more thought, I might of had a PDR cam put in. Since they had the stock cam out anyway. I believe

After 30 years of running 5. 9's in all kinds of applications and never having a dowel come loose I finally got arround to checking my truck. It was 3/8 of an inch out. Made a believer out of me! This forum just saved me a bunch of money!
