What I need is a VIN from someone's truck that has a quad cab, with factory, power, leather seats that are NOT heated.

Reason:

I have installed non-heated, powered, leather seats, from a quad cab truck into my 1999 that came with cloth, non power seats. I now need some parts for the seat and need a VIN that matches the "new"seats so I can get the right parts. I promise the vin will only go to me and my parts guy at the local dealership.

If you can help me I would really appreciate it.

I didn't know there were any leather unpowered seats. According to the literature dispensed by Dodge dealers in 2001 al leather seats were powered and no fabric ones were.

You have four trucks listed in your sig. That's not four VIN numbers you can use?

Wouldn't be asking if I could.

My 95 has manual cloth seats. My 99 came with manual cloth seats. My 01 came with non heated, power cloth, not leather.

I have another VIN from a buddy that is power, heated leather. I Ineed a power, non-heated, leather VIN for this application.

The seats I swapped into my 99 are not heated but they are factory leather. That is the VIN I need. If anyone has it a set up like that please let me know.

I am working with the original manufacturer of our seats to source new seat foam. The dealers don't have it, won't get it and wan't try. I have done most of the work to get all the info and right people on this and just need one more VIN to make it all happen. If your willing to let your butt continue to suffer on worn out foam, feel free. But if your ready to cough up a few dollars for brand new seat foam please send me your VIN.

Thanks
Mark

Don't have what you are looking for as my seats are cloth and not leather. I would think the padding would be the same for the two seats, and just the covering would be different. I am however interested in hearing what you come up with and what the cost would be for original replacement padding. I am about ready to try different foam this week for my truck as I am tired of the worn out padding. Keep us posted! :)

The word from the manufacturer is that the foams are different. I am sending photos of the seats in hopes they can identify the type of foam. I will keep this thread posted with info... .

Mark,

Thanks for following through on this.

It would be a huge step in the right direction, for our old sagging seats.
