Looking for a set of electric heated tow mirrors to fit in place of my factory units which are useless for towing. Which year models will direct fit my truck?

Kool-Vue makes some that are direct bolt on. Also can be found at various websites. I got the last few sets from AM-autoparts.com for $189 delivered. They sell on ebay, too.

With the mirrors fliped up I have no problem seeing both sides of my 5th wheel and whats in the other lanes when traveling. What I had to get use to was they are bigger than my old tow mirrors.

AWallace that is a great intsall link. I saved it to have when I do mine. The slide on extensions are soon to be yardsale items. Finally I will be able to see both sides of the camper at the same time and won't have to ask the wife " is it clear on your side".

I really like mine. I did not have power or heated mirrors so I bought the manuel mirrors. I started to get the power/heated but would be running around at salvage yards trying to find parts. The plugs was behind the door panels I saw them in 95 when I put my others on. I just flip them up and I am gone. If you get them just make sure you get the reinforcement brackets. I read alot about them before buying and the people that did not get the brackets had problems with them vibrating. I drove to AK last year a month after I put mine on and some of the roads are horriable like driving on a wash board I never had a problem.

Mine was $248. 00 total I can't remember what the electric was. I don't know what they are now.

Mine are electric and heated on my Cummins truck which makes them a little pricey but after driving dads 2010 Dodge I am going to upgrade my Cummins and the 98 2500 gasser every day truck which is non power. Thanks for all the good info and links.
