WOW can't believe it's almost a year since anyone posted seeing a rig in Nevada or Vegas.

You guys have a new one to spot, an '04 qud cab, dark blue in the southwest, near Trop and Rainbow.

Be looking for you... ... ... ... . Phil

Phil, I'm off of Trop and Eastern area, have lunch occassionally around your area , work off of Russell and Cameron!! I have the grill badge and sticker on back window!!

MMeier

Great, I get down that way occasionally, but most of my time during the day is spent driving a service van (Ford, blech !) so seeing me during the weekdays probably won't happen.

Did you know that Diesel Dynamics was closed for R&D ? Went by there a few days ago to get some info, guess I'll have to wait till they re-open.

Do you know if Joe Donnely is still in town ? Saw something about him going to New Mexico.

Hope to meet sometime... ... Phil

Joe is still in and out of town. I was just over at his house today looking at stuff for my "new" engine. He may be gone this weekend.

Phil, believe Joe is still here, hear he runs back and forth quite a bit to NM. Sickly was in the drive last week when I drove by, who you work for? FF where abouts are you located? Mark

MMeier,

Sears tech, work on water treatment products, (softners, R. O. 's, heaters).

I see you have the AFE filter and torque tube on your rig, would like to talk to you about that sometime..... Phil

P. S. Put nerf bar steps and a chrome exhaust tip on last week, lookin better all the time !! Oo.

I saw a real nice dark red 3500 dualie on Rainbow today, pulled into parking lot for Albertson's at Flamingo. Don't know if he/she (couldn't see driver) is a member, no stickers, still a sharp lookin' rig !!

I work for City of North Las Vegas. I live out in the N. W. so it was quite a drive to Joe's house, but WELL WORTH IT. LOL Sickly is still in the driveway... Joe would really like to sell it, but I have other commitments for my money right now... Good looking truck though.

Tnx for the info on Joe, may have to find out where he lives and go see him someday. I am guessing that "sickly" is his truck. Is it not running ? Or is that just what he calls it ?

I live in the southwest part of town, near Trop and Rainbow, maybe we should try to have a get together with Joe b-4 he leaves town for N. M. , someplace central for coffee or something. What do you think ?

In Las Vegas

You may see my white 04 Quadcab Ram3500 SRW with a Stromberg-Carlson flow thru tailgate and full length running boards on the west side of the city. Wave.

Lodi...

I will be running out to Joe's in a couple of days... He is getting me some Injectors, a guage, and a new clutch. Let me know about getting together, I will be off for the next few days.

"Sickly" is Joe's old truck. It is the one he made over 600 horsepower with on just #2 Diesel. It was a big joke a while back. When he went to Dyno it along with all the other big horsepower truck a Diesel Dynamics a few years ago, he and some other guys pushed it onto the Dyno (They did it for a joke, saying that it was too old and weak to get on the dyno by itself. ) Then he made like 650 horse power. I believe he outdid Nowell by a few horses and he was using Nitro and Propane. He has bought a 3rd generation truck now and is making over 500 horses with it. "Sickly" now is being sold. Joe detuned it a bit and it has a brand new motor with Marine Pistons in it along with a whole bunch of other mods. It is a very nice/clean truck!

Count me in for a get together, usually work M-F from 7 AM till 4 PM. Heck since its so blazing hot down here , how does a lunch type deal up on the mountain sound??

Anybody here in Vegas know what the story is with Diesel Dynamics ??

Went by their shop again, still closed, appears like no activity there for some time. :(

Web site is still up but that's about all... ...

DD is shut down right now from what Joe says... They will be at the Edge show in Utah. I think it is this weekend. Lodi... . sorry I haven't gotten back with you... If you have read the thread "I melted number six" you will know why. I get my truck back on the 13th (I hope) and am getting ready to go out of town on the 16th.

FF1607

Sorry to hear about your truck problems :(

Was wondering why I didn't hear from you. When you get a chance could you elaborate on melting #6, Ive heard about this happening but I'm not sure what causes this.

Phil

My EGT guage went bad on a trip while pulling my trailer. I turned my comp box down to number 2 setting, but I guess it was not enough. The hill was too long and steep. A stock engine will not have this problem. When you start adding fuel... . you add heat... . You have to be able to get rid of this heat or you will start melting things. The number 6 piston gets the least amount of air to cool it, thus it is usually the first to go.

Well, I have seen alot of CTD's in Vegas lately, but non with any TDR stickers, so I can't say if I have seen any members or not. Alot of nice looking trucks here though ! :)
