Don't need a 3500, I barely tow 10k lbs a year. The mileage alone in the city day to day would kill me.

As much as I want a long bed dually lol

Why would the fuel mileage between a 3500 and 2500 be much different?

Fuel mileage won't be any different under normal driving. The only time it would be different is towing heavy with the HO and using that additional power for an extended time.

No need for an Aisin in a DD, simply not.
Same for Dually or Longbed, no benefit from it, just downsides in that application.

Only reason I want a long bed is because I move alot of art work that typically come in at 100"-125" long so they stick out past the tailgate a good bit over the 100" mark. I also move couches and other items frequently so the longbeds will also help there.

I have a 9ft 4in bed and love it... truck beds are like money and sumething else... you can't have too much.

NOPE! It is the mightiest of all BEASTS... big ole Ram 5500 Taint nuthin you caint do with one. My daily driver in DC wuz an 02 Ram 3500 QC 4x4 AND with a 6spd standard. Just put her in grandma in heavy traffic and let her walk.

I got really good at parking the 02...I could put it anywhere it could physically fit. Not bad with the 17 now either, although I "CHEAT" with cameras and parking sensors. I love the technolgy!

Yeah all the tech is awesome! Just have to make sure next truck has the adjustable pedals for the wife. She's all of 5' so she can't drive the current truck.

Still loving my 19' Laramie all 17k miles now, after a yr and 2 mnths. it was my daily driver to work for 60 miles a day, now its a weekend warrior for hauling the SXS & quad to the desert. i have not had any issues at all, Oil & filter @ every 10k & both fuels @ every 15k. Honestly i would say the only issue i have, more of an annoyance is the DEF fill ups but cant get away from that & the fact that i still reside in Screwya-fornia!!!

Definitely get the Maxcare Warranty, i just looked at the site listed here and its comparable, i paid about $2500 for the 7y/100k with $200 ded. so its well worth the peace of mind. especially with how much these repairs can get.
