2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission New 3500; Super 5-Star

Well, I finally sucumbed to the need for more GVWR and more CGVWR. My 2500 was weighing 8860 lbs at the curb. Just happened to see a 02 3500 at my local 5-Star. Stopped by and did they make me a sweet deal. The real sweet part, besides 5-year zero financing, was I made it a condition to change ALL of my 2500's upgrades over to new truck. They said yes. I parked both trucks on the back of their lot and swapped my BD 4" exhaust system, bumpers, grill guard, and yes, injectors... Sweet!



I made decision for 02 vs 03 based on all my BOMBing and accessories swap and I know how to work on this ISB.



On a final note: Swapping 2 years of BOMBing in 3 days is border-line slave labor. Taking off fifth wheel hitch was a bear!

I traded a 2001. 5 SWB 5 speed for a 2001. 5 LWB 6 speed. The dealer let me take both trucks home to swap out the mods, although mine were not as extensive as yours.

Congrats on the new truck. I wanted to trade for a 6 speed, dealer offered a great deal. Wife was going to call the men with the straight jacket so I guess I will be driving the auto a while longer.

The name of the dealer is Sheehy Dodge, at corner of Rt 4 and 301. They another dually 4X4, silver, ETH/DEE, 4. 10s. It was identical to mine except color.



TMACC: It was this past weekend. I installed the 5th wheel hitch today. I should have bulging mucles from doing two exhaust systems, an injector change etc... Worked 'ti 0230 Sat morning and stopped at 1030 tonight. Got a few hours left tomorrow until we head for Columbus.



Tazzen: You ain't kidding on the right turns, don't want to skin them training wheel fenders

When you do the 0% thing, don't they kill you on the deal, meaning that the dealership must eat a lot of this and as such they don't give you much off nor hardly anything for your trade. Is this happening to you folks... .

Won the 02 Class at TDR Nationals

Well guys:



I won the TDR Nationals Show-N-Shine in the the 02 class. Boy, you couldn't slap the smile off my face. She was mighty purty. Pulled the 5th wheel great.



Hammersly: I got a good deal. I think they want to move the 02 stock. Don't know if the sivler 3500 is still there, if it is, give it a shot. Didn't ask the particulars on the 0% financing for 5 yrs, I figure they're close to announcing it for 02s.
