New 3 piece exhaust manifold?

k&n filter

Any dyno info yet?

I can't believe no one has not done any back to back dynoing with this yet. Any egt drops with this. That's pretty easy to see.

From what I have read they don't help much if any. Seems those that have bought them, purchase for the engine dress up same as doing a valve cover.

What I don't get is why someone has not made a lower cost one out of steel and chromed or powder coated it.

Seems a shop that does manderal bending could pop them out real easy... even in an unfinished product for the consumer to chrome or paint how they like.

Matt- must not be a big demand on the product for ISBE trucks. Since the "three weeks" posting back in Sept, the original unit continues to be offered (and sold?) with not very many new postings about the misalignment issue. I guess we're a smaller segment of the pie than I'd hoped.

Just thinking about the Dyno issue... since a drop in EGT isn't a measure of HP, I guess the only way to evaluate a difference, if any, would be to crank up fuel until peak EGT is the same in both tests. The new HP reading would be bragging rights. Any thoughts?

Thats too bad, I bought one and sent it back for poor fit.

Sounds unfair to add more fuel and say its from the manifold.

I think the changes if any are going to be so small that it just doesn't make much difference and falls back to a dress up item.

:--) Before anyone else drags us through the dirt without calling to find out any information we have to offer I'm going to clear things up. Yes their are cases of binding where the manifold meets the intercooler piping. Yes we are aware of this issue, but this was not an issue right off the start. When we first test fitted the manifold to the common rail it fit fine. Because of this issue we think that Dodge might have changed the pipe some at one point. We are correcting this problem with a new manifold casting for the ISBE. The new manifold will be available in three weeks.

Thank You For Your Time
Just a follow up, did this change ever happen?

I spoke with ATS today. Mine will be in the mail tomorrow. :D They have three black ones left in stock. A few weeks more for the next shipment.

I took the piece of____________Banks off and put on the ATS. I had it powder coated red. It has taps on the side for what ever you need to pump in or take out. It is really made well.

I recently installled the ATS Arc-Flow intake manifold on my 01 automatic. In the ATS ad in TDR they, the company gave hard numbers on expected increases for the upgrade. I installed a boost gauge a week before the ATS Manifold so when I report more boost on the gauge I don't have a 30 day track or performance, but there is more inches of boost. The cost 325 plus shipping and handling from CO to FL the total bill came to $341 and change. Nice looking and better performance.

Now that's odd, another fella on here found a decrease in boost, theory was that the improved flow between the charger and head re leaved some back pressure.

Turning it around the other way with an increase of boost suggests increased flow on the exhaust side spinning the charger more.

Just where in the system the boost is measured could have some bearing on observed differences. I think the whole point of taking the kinks out of the charge air path is to allow a greater volume of air to move at any given pressure. The biggest benefit is a reduction in egt's.

Any one put on an aftermarket intake horn ,,while using GENO'S remote fuel filter adapter??

If so does eveything still clear,,etc???
