Thats too bad, I bought one and sent it back for poor fit.Doubleclutch said:Since the "three weeks" posting back in Sept, the original unit continues to be offered
Sounds unfair to add more fuel and say its from the manifold.I guess the only way to evaluate a difference, if any, would be to crank up fuel until peak EGT is the same in both tests.
Just a follow up, did this change ever happen?ATSDiesel said::--) Before anyone else drags us through the dirt without calling to find out any information we have to offer I'm going to clear things up. Yes their are cases of binding where the manifold meets the intercooler piping. Yes we are aware of this issue, but this was not an issue right off the start. When we first test fitted the manifold to the common rail it fit fine. Because of this issue we think that Dodge might have changed the pipe some at one point. We are correcting this problem with a new manifold casting for the ISBE. The new manifold will be available in three weeks.

Now that's odd, another fella on here found a decrease in boost, theory was that the improved flow between the charger and head re leaved some back pressure.Dipstick said:there is more inches of boost.

Turning it around the other way with an increase of boost suggests increased flow on the exhaust side spinning the charger more.
