Very interesting.
4500/5500 trucks will have an option of a Six-speed Auto, or Manual, both with PTO, and the HP will be at 305HP at 3,000RPM, and 610 Ft Lbs at 1,600RPM.
Other than a 15,000 Mile oil Change interval, no other aspects were mentioned such as Cat, EGR, VGT, or Particulate filters. .
Also a 52 Gallon fuel tank. Nice.
I think thge class leading 10,500 GVWR is highest in calss because it is comparing SRW trucks... The DRW trucks have a 12,500 rating.
GCWR is 23,000.
The 2007 Dodge Ram 3500 Chassis Cab delivers a best-in-class single-rear-wheel GVWR of 10,200 lbs. Maximum GVWR for dual-rear-wheel models is 12,500 lbs. When equipped with the 6. 7-liter Cummins Turbo Diesel, the Gross Combined Weight Rating (GCWR) is 23,000 lbs.
Also what appears to be a factory option, is an exhaust brake.
With a bigger motor, exhaust braking should be greatly improved.
