Got my truck running today

Forget to post the picture here it is I hope

Just think......

How good it would look if it was styled like 70 instead of the ugly 71! Lose the fender gills, lose the broken, glued together pieces of grill that the 71 was cursed with. I pray it does not have the round 72,3,4 taillights. Hard to tell I owned a 1970`cuda, isn`t it? Beautiful rendition of a car I WOULD buy. There seems to be a run on these Retro repros, doesn`t there? VW Bug, Ford ThunderBird, and now DC withe "E" body. DK.

If they build it, I bet the aftermarket folks will be falling all over themselves to make different grille/headlight assemblies - you'll be able to make it look like about any E-body made. It's going to be glorious!

Just as affordable as the diesels we already drive... (like anything is affordable anymore) I look at it this way, I was already planning on a new truck, now if I keep my current one and get a new challenger instead, then it's more affordable then getting two new vehicles.

Let's hope the Chrysler doesn't screw the pooch on this one like they did on the Charger. The Concept Charger looked sorta nice (ignoring the ridiculous CNG engine-- "the environmentally conscious muscle car:rolleyes:)

Then the actual charger came out and it's FUGLY. What an INSULT TO THE NAMEPLATE!

So now we have to see just how much uglier the actual Challenger will be. Why can't they learn from the Viper?? When you show a hot concept-- THAT'S WHAT PEOPLE WANT!! Not some restyled, cost-cut, cobbled together leftover-Magnum-parts conglomeration.

DC has the chance to hit a home run-- let's see if they settle for grounding into a DP like they did on the Charger.

Yes, I know the charger is selling well, but if it looked more like a Charger (coke bottle lines, baleen front end) and less like a Mustang (admit it, the rear wheel bulge is straight from a Rustang) the sales of the Charger would be much stronger.....

I know, because my truck would be long gone if they would have done the charger right.....

Yep !

At the Michigan Nascar races, Dr. Z said it is a go for 08. He was smiling like somebady already counting his bonus. DK.
