My sig truck (191k) for years would sometimes have a "CHONG" when idling after start-up, especially in cooler weather. I took it to be a sticking injector. That and the "lower lubricity" of fuel made me start using Power Service. Three years ago, the Greatest Injectors-Of-All-Time had a special, and I bit on a set of .5 injectors and tubes advertised as a good for towing. I didn't have them put in until last week (long story) when I had to have an injection pump leak fixed on my (pre Fiat) '97 5030 Ford New Holland. Lie-o-meter said 24 mpg driving the 55 miles to Myrtle Beach, coming home said 20. That was a lot of "gold dust" to lose 4 mpg! Where do I go from here? I'd put the old ones back in if it wasn't for the "CHONGER"! I feel like I poured clabbered milk on my Cheerios! Mark
