wow lookin great steve! i like them wheels and tires... keep postin pics when you add more goodies! that airdog sounds like a good idea. i know the fueling system is all stock and has never been touched... but they normally last a while unlike the 24 valve lifts. but to push that much fuel, an upgraded system sure is a piece of mind.

Thanks Kyle and the stance is perfect as its not too tall and not too small, regarding the Air Dog, I was thinking the same thing you were. The amount of fuel going through this thing is pretty substantial and I want to make the system feeding it as strong as possible.

I also have a great "2 Lane Blacktop" story from this morning that involves a Mustang GT, a red light and lots of diesel smoke but I will refrain from the specifics here.

Looks pretty good. looks like you picked up some other tires too

Thanks Robbie and the additional tires were for my wifes truck, I got a really good deal on some Toyo's and had to take the opportunity to kill two birds with one stone.

well i know there was some tire smoke from the truck as soon as the turbo lit, a lot of black smoke and hopefully the GT took on some of that smoke..... so now that you spilled it i need details. .

You pretty much nailed the story, guy in this nice and tight sounding little stang pulls up on my passenger side, it is pretty early in the morning and he has this girl with him. He keeps blipping the throttle like he wants to stage and go on the light, he finally jumps the front end and I just looked over and smiled.

I saw the other light turning yellow and with no turn lanes I knew we would get a green so I just spooled it up until it was almost ready to break traction and let er rip when I saw the light change, he jumped as well and to my surprise I had him at 60 and then 100 ft marks. By the time ol red got about a 16th of a mile out all I saw was his front end as everything else was a smoke show.

The funniest thing was the next light because he had to pull up right beside me and the girl was laughing herself silly while he argued back and forth at her.

No traction with the tires as it just blew them away and the boost went straight up on launch and had to of pegged the gauge, the little impromptu run never lasted long enough for the motor to burn clean as it was a total smoke show due to the duration of the little sprint.

I didn't even think to put it in 4 high range before the boost launch but I definitely learned something real fast this morning, I had better get over this because it could get very addicting real fast.

The smile on her face was hilarious and that ol red truck is downright nasty when you uncork it!

New pics of Toyo 12. 50x35x16's, the AR Mojave Wheels and the Leveling kit installed. The profile shot to me, appears to have a nose up stance but the truck actually ended up with a rear height 1. 5" above the front and the stance looks perfect.

I added a TomTom GPS, installed the toolbox and have purchased several front end parts for some longevity, specifically a Thuren Trac Bar, Carli upper ball joints and on another forum I found a (new in box's) complete T-Steering linkage with all the zerked joints, tie rod and drag link for 250 bucks.

I checked the front end and there was very minimal play "mostly in the tie rod ends" but the additional components will give some peace of mind down the road.

More to add later but this is the progress so far.

Man, your rig looks great! I think you will really like those tires, I am running the same ones and size in load range E and they are great tires, but I will say that Toyo really seems to think the world of them! I am really liking the wheels, very nice looking!

Thanks Dave and yes they are very proud of their tires. I was going to go with some Walker Evans Beadlocks but decided to go this route after getting a really good deal on the tires / wheels, Toyo's were only 235 each from a local Kauffman Tire shop.

The old saying "pays to shop around" is most definitely better on the wallet.

You stole those tires! I have not found them for less than $300 each for the "E" rated units. How much were the wheels and what is the back spacing on them?

Thanks for the reply Dave, the polished mojave's were 150. 00 each and if I am not mistaken they are 4 5/8 on the backspacing which is near perfect for the dodge wheels and their relative placement on the hub.

I bet I looked at 150 different places and then the Kauffman Tire about 25 miles south priced it all for me and had it all delivered to them withing 24 hours for installation.

Cheaper than the deals you can sometimes find on the internet and I didnt have to pay the shipping charges.

The guy's at the shop gave me a great deal on the mounting and balancing as well but for the tiny amount of balancing that was needed they were shocked by the tires / wheel combo and how little weight it took.

SW Cook,

My brother law lives in Ball Ground Georgia, My wife and I Hopefully will be moving out there shortly if all goes right

It's really pretty They're and we I love the four seasons.

Not sure about to humanity, I guess we'll have to get used to that:{

Enjoy your new truck, Looks really nice ;)

David

Ball Ground is a great and growing little community and most of the folks up here are rural minded and big on helping themselves and their neighbors in good times and bad, something you just dont find enough of anymore.

I remember when the population here was about 600 people as members of our family have lived here for many generations.

You will really like the atmosphere, the location is about an hour north of Atlanta which sets it in a perfect spot at the base of the North Georgia Mountains and the Appalachian Trail. There are so many different areas you can day trip to and the weather is great as well.

When you get out look me up.

Thanks for the reply and have a nice week.
