Come on New Mexico, let's hear some chatter. We haven't had a post since two days before Christmas. Who's buying a new Dodge, or a new 5er or a new horse trailer? What new toy's did you get for Christmas? I got a 2GB iPod Nano. I'm excided to get it hooked up to my truck.

I got a new hose for my shop vac & some socks. . Oo.

Lesse, I got a new Husquavarna lawn mower, a watch, some clothes, a Husky pnuematic air tool set (so I can finally use my for something other than airing up tires... ), some gift cards, and 10 days off work.

On another note, I finally moved my post-turbo probe pre turbo, and lemme tell you, 1050* post turbo is nowhere near 1300* pre, at least on mine. Im kinda scared to see how hot it will get in 5th gear. Im hitting around 1600* in 4th gear (which was equivalent to about 900* post turbo before... !!!!!). Luckily, my gauge only goes to 1500*, so im guessing in 5th gear it will be back around to 0*, so then I will be back in the safe zone. ;)

Whos up for lunch on tuesday of next week??

lets meet somewhere around 11:00, on tuesday.

How about somewhere like great american land and cattle (good burgers!!)??

Or if linc wants to join us, somewhere like fudruckers on the frontage road???

My truck got smashed Thursday. No one hurt and not my fault. The whole rear end is damaged from bumper to bed. It may need a new box and tailgate. It will need a new bumper and fiber glass fenders. Question is where to take it to get it fixed. My State Farm Agent is recommending M&M on Edith and Montano and Danlar on Alameda. Who does the best work and best paint on a Dodge DRW.

Ouch! Sorry to hear that Griz. Glad you are OK, though. The drivers here positively reek. I'm a native and have lived here most of my life, and let me tell you things have gotten bad. A kid rear-ended my wife on Montano a couple of months ago and just drove off. No real damage, but he didn't even stop to see if she was all right. Of course, no one else stopped to help either... .

Like I said, glad you are OK.

Thanks Juan. Have you had any experience with body shops? I'm looking for a really good one. Grizzly

The damage wasn't major and we ended up trading it in on a new car (that we were going to get anyway).

Isn't Jeff Argo's (powerwagn) dad a big shot at Melloy? I'm sure he could probably recommend someone as I am sure they deal with body damage a lot. You might also post over on NMTDR as someone there might be able to recommend one. If you aren't a member yet, you might want to sign up.

I'll ask around, though. If you find someone good I may take my truck in and have them look at my rear fender that just happened to find a fence post sticking up...

Color Works in Los Lunas. The best around, in my opinion.

My uncle *used* to work at melloy. My cousin still does, my uncle does not.

Oh yeah, whoever wants to meet for lunch tomorrow, lets plan on 11:15 at the albuquerque grille, on central, east of juan tabo.

does that work for everyone?

Well, my attendance might be tenative now... I have a crisis here at work.

If I dont make it, you guys have a good lunch!

--Jeff

So, who all showed up?

We had a flammable tank leak here at work, we had to "shelter in place" until almost 12:30!!!!

yeah, it sucked. I got to watch one of the doors to make sure nobody escaped.

--Jeff

Well, I got frozen pizza for lunch instead... Since we had to "shelter" through lunch, they had to provide lunch. Nasty pizza... ...

typical ford owner.

Did they tell you about how in 200X (insert next year number here) ford will be using cummins?? :-laf
