New Parts Store And New Phat Shaft!!!!!!

ok update time!! With the help of pwrwagn and motero, we ended up monster garageing a downpipe out of my stock HX-35 4" exhaust with some parts from a local company referred by wicked6 (thanks buddy) the company is called Filter systems off the I-25 frontage road in between commanche and candelaria. The road is called industrial, it is directly behind Buildology... check em out, they have some cool stuff, everything from stacks and parts to build em (or downpipes) to BHAF's and manual fuel pumps for auxillary tanks, things like that. great people.



anyway I installed the SPS 62/14 yesterday and lemme tell you :--) WOW i am . this sucker runs great, it does have noticeable lag as opposed to stock but nothing exceeding whats expected, the truck runs really strong, it damn near cleaned up 75% of my smoke!! that to me was a feat in itself. . i can still lay a cloud when i want to but i have to make the effort which is exactly how i want it. . but yea this turbo runs really good, and it made a noticeable improvement on the performance of the truck, im talkin squeling the tires on a 25mph roll when boost comes on and chirping them into second, and just pulling really hard. i took a freeway onramp yesterday and hit it with the comp on 5X5 and the injectors on full blast :-laf and hit 48 psi 98. 76 mph and just coming around 1300* when i let off. Needlees to say the turbo has completely satisfied my needs and will as motero put it (in caveman voice) ooh go real fast for 1/4 mile. no egt issues, slight, very acceptable lag and it sounds really good. i will post some pics of my new booger downpipe which i have come to be a lil proud of :-laf . anyway, time for the races!!!

If you look real close in the first pic, you can also see the sweet arse spoked rims we built for LOteros truck at my house. "rollin on 24's", pshh, we built him some 36's. :-laf



Anyways Luis, my grinder and my john deere mower all have fees they charge for being celebrities. You owe each of them $$, especially for the sparks you threw at them with the big grinder.



Im glad you love the turbo. It sounds sweet, I need a ride. Call me tomorrow when you come get the 4" extension out of the bed of my truck, I'll go for a ride.

Good I'm, glad that you like it... I had to kind of do the same thing with my 5 inch down pipe. My clamp wouldn't wrap all the way around the pipe, so had to weld it. I love my SPS 62, too :-laf

no lake jeff??? or are you already back? oh i am making over 700 and 1300 according to your gmeter thing, only had a chance to run with it once so far...

yeah, once you get it calibrated, It should be closer to the 200hp your making. :-laf

but dont believe the hp number anyways, cause the weight of your truck plays a role as well, and the weight that is entered in the Gtech (7000lb) is just a guess. If you want it closer, do weigh your truck at a scale and enter than number.



Did you get any more runs in while at mt taylor??

Im still running your jammer BB. Its good and bad. I like the top end, and the immediate bottom end aint to bad, but the lag time between the bottom and top is still somewhat slow. The bigger plate helped. I think If I did gov springs it would be more useable. Im still not sure about 370's though, becuase I can still get over 1500* fairly easily.

from a 40mph roll in 4th (like 1900rpm), hammer down, let off at like 75 (like 3,000rpm) it hits 1450. 5th just gets hotter.
