We left the dealer in Greeley, Co at noon and drove 409 miles today. We are 3 miles short of Utah. Talk about long legs this thing really strenches them out. Fuel fill is not as good as the old 2001. Other than that it is really nice. Got a lot of things figured out with the cluster and the 8.4.

Held the business managers hand to the stove and bought the 8 year 120k Max warranty for $2643.

We had a late lunch in Laramie, Wy and I was going to take a picture of "our" new Laramie, then forgot.

Is there a setting for when the dash dims in the evening? It dimmed to early last evening.

Snoking

Yes, it's in one of the menus on the 8.4. I as well didn't like how soon it dimmed and manually dim it myself via the little roller wheel under the head light switch.
Nice truck by the way.

Congrat's on the new truck!
I saw one with the perfect color combination for me (dark blue exterior and tan interior) at the dealer the other day but my wife drug me away kicking and screaming.........

Congrats! Beautiful truck (for a short bed :-laf).

409 miles is LONG day with the 300 mile drive-train break-in.

Fine looking truck you have there! I've always liked the silver two-tone. I would have gotten it on mine if it went with the green as my wife laid down the law and said the only way I get a new truck is if it's green. :) She said that when I got my car as well. Ironically, her vehicle is silver and her prior vehicle was blue. ...but this doesn't mean she's the boss of me. HA

Great looking truck and I love the two tone.

Your wife is so much better looking than you.

Snoking,
Congrats on the new truck, we are happy with ours. Great color too. :) We searched high and low till we found a long bed, wasn't easy.
I also purchased the extended warranty due to all the electronics in these things now, you never know. Enjoy the new ride.

Nice truck!
Noticed the same problem with my mirror. Where did you find that one and is it adjustable; or is adjusting not necessary with that type mirror?

So this afternoon we drove 65 in western Idaho and Oregon and got 21.4MPG. At 80 in the morning we got 18.6. Snoking

Snoking....Is that hand calculated or is that coming from the dummy lights on the dash?
