New to the forum here...was told by the P.O. of my truck about this place! Seems like he's gotten a lot of great information from this site, so I figured I'd sign up! Maybe some of you recognize the truck.

I came from a 3.0L Diesel Jeep...Have to say this truck is AWESOME. Immaculate condition. Only issue is I am getting lukewarm heat from the heater...Goes in tomorrow to get looked at (blend door/heater core issue?)

I'm eager to learn all this site can teach me about this truck! Very satisfied with it so far.

WELCOME to the TDR! Lots of 2gen specific info to get you caught up on. I don't recognize the truck, but judging by what I see I don't doubt a TDR association.

welcome newbee. Have a seat and bring your reading glasses and your lunch cause there is so much here you'll never get to the end of it. Just ask a way with your questions and you should get a zillion answers. Its up to you to separate the ones you want.
Also the "search" slot works great. go there first, if you can't get a reasonable answer then ask away.

Good looking ride.

Nice ride! Welcome to the TDR! I'm thinking the low heat is a blend door issue as you mentioned. Do a search ie: blend door fix or the like and you get some info for sure.

Turns out the issue does in fact pertain to the heater core...I was thinking blend door as well as I've had to deal with that crap on a Jeep I used to own

So I've tried to do some learning about the add-ons my new truck has...It has a smarty programmer and an edge with 5-selectable levels. With the edge, can I just push the next arrow at any time to get a different power level? Am I correct in assuming the smarty is used more for stuff like turbo-timer and tire size/engine timing adjustments? Any place I can learn about ALL the features of these products? Unfortunately, my truck will be in the shop for the next week getting the heater core done so I can't play with it.

With the Snow methanol injection, is that just programmed to kick in at certain Psi levels? I haven't looked to see if there is a master on/off switch. He did give me a jug of methanol but I was thinking of picking up some WW fluid to try as well. To that note, can anyone point me in a direction on how to clean the methanol nozzles?

Sorry for all the noob questions...
