Just wanted to share of my upcoming project over the weekend. Complete Suncoast competition transmission (billet everything) should be arriving tomorrow. Hopefully I will be super busy on saturday Oo. Oo.

Good for you! I've been pretty happy with mine. Just had to adjust the VB a couple times to really tune it in to my likeing.

well not as happy as i thought, suncoast called me and said their dyno was down therefore could not test my transmission and ship it out on wednesday, instead it shipped yesterday (thurs) and i probably wont see it till monday, just means next weekend i should be super busy that is if i dont get ants in my pants and make it an evening job sometime next week =)

Welp my baby has been installed and its a world of difference. Can't believe how much more response the truck has as well as the overall cooperative working of the truck now, turbo actually seems like she does something now instead of before where it was slipping soo bad the turbo never had a chance to really build it. I love it!!

Did you get the lower stall converter? That is probably what I liked the most about the new transmission set up driving around town, although when I race sometimes I was I had opted for the higher stall.

Lower stall converter yes, I pull a trailer 5 days a week and suncoast took care of the rest. She pulls nicely. One problem, going to call them tomorrow but when i shift from reverse or drive into park, I hear a little bit of a clunk clatter from like it not releasing completely cause of the driveshaft maybe? I also wonder if i could lower the idle rpm or was i even supposed to adjust the idle on 24valves as ive heard different stories from different people specifically to do with the accelerator pedal positioner or some crap. Any body got any clues, however when you change from drive to neutral then to park you do not hear the noise at all.

I got the "Ernie Medium" valve body, we said its a daily driver but want it bang the gears when I mash and hold 450-500HP. When I shift from R to D its pretty harsh too, I've just put it in Neut first and it smooths it out. I've been doing it so long its a habit and dont even think about it now. I dont think you can lower the idle... I could be wrong.

Same deal with my DTT, never made any noise when stock? So, I always go N then P regardless of being in D or R.
