I just got the Shurflo 4. 0 GPM smart sensor water pump.

I had the regular 2. 8 gpm pump and even with an accumulator tank, it still had pressure problems and Pulsing water at the faucet...

The regular pump was hooked directly to the hardline..... Bad... . got a "quiet kit" (2, 18" flex hoses) and the strainer for it. The pump has a O-ring clip connector so if you need to remove it, it is pretty easy.

So Now... . This pump, with the quiet kit, and the accumulator, the pump has a variable speed motor so if you run slow water, the pump runs slow, monitoring pressure, Has almost like home pressure up to 50 PSI. . NICE!!!!!!! The other thing... This pump is Quiet! at least 1/2 as loud or less when the pump is slow, I almost can't hear it... I highly recomend this pump!!

will do Eric, if/when my current pump gives up the ghost.

I used a quiet kit on mine but took it one step further and used 2" wide velcro strips to mount the soft lines to the wall. the velcro pads it just enough to dampen the vibrations tranmitted to the wall by the plastic clips.

The original in mine was crap also. Put in the shurflo 5. 7, man does this thing work awesome. I had more pressure from this pump than I had from the spigot at the last CG we stayed in.
