Attention: TDR Forum Junkies Ok, can a better flowing muffler slow my truck down? No kidding, after a 2nd opinion,. . a guy that rode in the truck before and after the muffler swap... this straight through 4" borla has slowed my truck down from the 3" flowmaster. Yes, someone put a flowmaster on this truck before I bought it. Jim put the plate and stuff in last night. The truck would always ream the tires off from a role on concrete, asphalt, ... whatever. As soon as the 4" borla went on the noise went way up
and the tire spin went away. This truck has LOST power. How can this be. I have a turbo 331 mustang and on the exhaust side, the bigger the better for a turbo. Could this new muffler just be blowing through the transmission? I doubt it.
