Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) NO Boost Truck wont get out of it's own way.

Just bumping this back to the top, because my truck has thrown the P0237 a few times over the last month.

I have fixed two '99 with the same symptoms by installing a new boost/map sensor. Neither one set a code at all.

surely not that symptom is usually comes after a loud poooooooooooffffft that sounds like you ran over a basket ball:-laf

No boost

What is was the condition of the fuel filter when it was changed? By chance does it buck an any rpm? Have the dollarshop check the voltage with there DRB they can turn it to scan if they have the right leads for there scanner . Mine has been a gutless wonder since NEW and it is because of bad voltage! Not from the Alt, batteries or ECM, or the lift pump!!! Mine will rev up to full throttle but only at idle fuel settings!
