2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission No Bus code, CCd msg, Gauges dead, runs

Cleaned battery terminals, grounds, connectors, checked fuses. I guess I'll take it to the dealership.

Dealership called and said I need a new gauge cluster for $990. Really, they can't resolder a bad connection or repair it? I don't trust Dealerships!

look on ebay ... . might be one close to you to go grab... I have a spare you can have cheap if that dont pan out.

Did you check the connector to the instrument cluster? Do a search there should be thousands of thread on "no bus".

There is a can bus gadget that relays data to the ECM,PCM... the last component to get the data is the instrument cluster.

Did you check the connector behind the front left wheel well? Had the same issues, on my 01. cleaned out the connector all good.
