Hello. I was driving to work this morning when the truck just died on the road. I pulled over and tried to re-start the truck and all I got was cranking. So I checked for codes and all it said was NO BUSS. So what dose this mean and what should I check for?

Thanks Keith

The truck is a 2002 6spd 4:10 and has 546,000 km. and it is the first time it has left me stranded.

Keith,

You don't say which Edge box you have. If it is the one that taps the wire to the VP44 check that connection and make for certain it is a good connection. Then check the connections on the power source for the Edge box. If that does not work then check the relays and fuses in the PDC (power distribution center) on the fender well. Also check all the ground to make sure they are good.

Somewhere in all that you will find the problem.

Godspeed,
Trent

I had the same problem last year, what it was the tap to the pump wire shorted to the injector line and fried the vp, but i dont know why i had no buss in the odom. hope yours i easier then mine to find and fix. good luck

I just have the small Edge box and have no wire taps. But I will check those Idias out.

Thanks Keith
