No dome lights

I have no dome lights; either when the door opens, or by rotating the dimming switch to the top detent. I do, however have the fron reading lights when they are punched in, so that circuit is hot.



Where is the fuse for the dome lights? I've checked all the fuses in the box under the hood, and can't find one burned out. Does the ECM control this? I know that the dome lights are on a timer and fade away after a few minutes.



I know I caused this somehow, because I installed an overhead DVD player, and used the three dome light wires to operate the dome lights in the DVD player. Everything worked as it was supposed to for a few days. Now ... nuthin.



I searched the archives first, but no help with this particular problem...

Try disconnecting your batteries for 30 minutes. Believe it or not, this has corrected many dome light issues. It resets what I believe is called the Comfort Control Module.

You did not mention if you checked the actual bulb?
