2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission no radio

have a 95 , and have no radio , there is two power lines coming into it as far as I can find and the on is still hot the other is not , I cannot find where this second wire comes from , no fuses are blown



I am new here , but i think I have researched the archives and came up dry.

If I missed where to go please direct me.

Did you turn the key on to energize the second power wire? One is battery+ (memory) the other is ignition+ (stereo turn on)

I did that , I have a dodge van that the radio is the same in so I swapped them ,the truck radio works in the car,,, the car not in the truck. I have been reading about the IOD fuse on 98 and 97s but havent found that particular fuse on mine , I have power to the radio but nothing happens , all the fuses in the fuse box are good.

My speakers went one at a time without notice(within 2 years) and then a year later the radio started to do weird things.

mine is pretty plain jane and only has one or two speakers , I am not much of a tunster.

but it needs to work , it quit all at once ,

After you check out all the fuses and wires check out the speakers.

You can get oem ones at the dealer.

Pricey but you won't have to cut holes in your door plus you get a piece of foam that covers the top of the speaker so it won't get wet.
