I got in to start my truck today which has not been started in 2 weeks and after wait to start shut off I tried to start and just got a click, and the screen says service 4wd system. Not sure if battery problem, voltmeter shows 11 volts on both but I did not load test them. Truck is 2017 3500 crewcab 4wd with 11k on odometer. thanks.

11 volts with no load is too low. Take and have them load tested but it sounds like they are bad. Did you check that the connects are clean?

11 volts, no load is too low.
Another question might be since your truck has been sitting two weeks, what has the temperatures been? Extreme low temps with infrequent use could be a contributing factor also.
Check your connections also.

11.0V at no load is a TOTALLY dead battery. No more no less.
You need at least 12.3V to safe start the truck.

You might have had a chance to start if you wouldn't have waited the "WTS" Light, that is a total battery killer, sucks the last drop of energy out of an almost dead battery.

Those Engines start at almost every Temperature, even at -30° with just a turn key within 2 seconds.
There is no need for any starting aid.

Yeah even here in sunny so cal the temps have been pretty chilly for us, it hit the 30’s where i am at a for a few days so that probably didnt help ... thanks again

Did you buy the truck new? If so, a set of batteries will probably be covered under warranty. Two years old, depending on mileage seems kind of young for battery failure.
Wont hurt to check, even if they prorate them.
If you or Dealer replaces them, replace them as a set. Otherwise parasitic drain can occur by they older, weaker battery.
I too live here in SoCal, out towards Palm Springs, temperature swings are brutal on batteries out here.

Mine don’t seem to spin as fast when it’s in the 50’s. Looked at Costco today figment code 30 $144 Interstate 42 month replacement. Think I will preemptively replace them soon.

My Sons 15 died a couple months ago. Our trucks were ordered the same day.

I took it to the dealer Champion Dodge- Downey Ca. , they checked batteries and said they were low and they recharged them said Chrysler will not replace unless they are completely dead. Told me to wait until they completely die then have it towed in. I hate dealers----always deal with BS. It has front main seal leak too --No they aint touching it!!

I wonder if they "load tested" the batteries after charging them? But I guess you are at their mercy. Wait till they are dead, have it towed on their dime and have them replaced.
You say you have a front main seal leaking also and you indicated you don't want them touching it. I don't think it will heal itself and unfortunately unless you are going to have it repaired on your own dime (which may cause warranty issues down the road) the dealer will have to do the repairs.
Monitor and watch the front main seal leak severity and if you can live with it, have it repaired when the batteries finally go dead and you have to have it towed in.

There is one alternative in the mean time: Start shopping around for a new dealer for warranty repairs in the future.

Yeah your right ---maybe try a new dealership--- just irritating to say the least because I know the batteries will fail again and probably at the worst time. Its just a hassle easily avoided. thanks

The new truck 2013+ are loaded with battery detection software, In order to save the Batteries and possible corruption of the system it shuts down until the Batteries are healthy and adequately charged. if you decide to jump start make sure you have both batteries safely jumped or charged. My 2013 sits during the winter Months ,I Purchased this
solar charger , its 7.5 watts I had 4watts and it was NOT enough, I also made my own battery connection and quick dis-connect, It sits on the dash and Problem solved, as mentioned the
parasitic drain
will kill the batteries. and the system will protect itself at low voltage.

On Edit: 12w to 7.5w I have the 12w that charges the Trailer batteries.. Opps
