I'm getting ready to install a Nordskog fuel pressure gage. I have a question on how to install the sending unit. I have a new banjo fitting from Geno's that I was planning on installing on the bottom of the fuel filter housing. Can I just install the sending unit into the banjo bolt, or is it better to make the sending unit remote by attaching a hose from bolt to sending unit mounting the sending unit on fender well? Any suggestions or help will make it easier and will be appreciated. Thanks.

Mount it remotely! I've gone through two sender b/c I was stupid and put a "T" at the VP44 and either the pulses from the pump and/or the constant movement killed the sender. (twice)

Remote is the best way to go, whether you tap the pressure at the injection pump, or at the filter. The filter housing suffers from engine vibration as well, the idea is to isolate the sending unit from vibration as much as possible.
