(Unofficial) N.E.P.A. Chapter of the TDR Springtime Meet n’ Greet.

Troy- are you still alive? We only hear from you when you break your truck. :D

Hows it running? We should try to get together some time soon. What do

you think. Just a thought..... Any ideas anyone. Road trip for crabs???

:-laf :-laf :-laf

"We only hear from you when you break your truck. "

That often, huh ? :-laf

Fifth gear is holding. I just don't plan on towing with it in 5th anytime soon. I tried to take a pic of the broken part. It didn't come out so well. I'll have to get Mike to take a pic. Somebody might find it interesting.

My brother and I installed one of those new Fram intake systems on my Father's truck. You can hear the turbo a little more now. We didn't get to take it for a real test drive yet. I'm leaving that up to him.

We installed a mystery switch a while back in his '95. He really enjoyed that. It takes some time off of your 1/4 mile. ( Yes, he had to check it out for himself ) :D

We're going to the pulls on Friday if anyone is interested. HighFinance97 has the details.

Technical school has my afternoons tied up. And with side jobs using up my time, it's going to be a quick summer.

Those southern boys promised us crabs, and I'll be happy to take them up on it sometime.

What pulls? I think some of us would be interested in that. Let us know whats going on. How about another get together? There are pulls in the Lancaster area that may be worth a look.

Michael- how were the pulls? Did anyone else show up? Need to do something soon!!

Tom :D

The pulls at Kempton were Loooong there where stock pick-ups,mod. Pick ups, stock farm tractors, mod farm tractors, super mod gas and lastly smokin series tractors (no partciular order) They started at 7:00 pm and wasnt over till about 2:00 am

I didnt get my timing tool until tuesday so i didnt get to pull

Tony and i were the only members there that i saw.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

So i got my timing tool tuesday night so this morning i started to attemt to set the timing. well the tool i bought for $230. 00 turned out to be used :(

and broken. So i tried to get it without the tool and had very little luck.

so i am going to try again tomarrow.

tony and i will try to leave for IRP asap with or without my truck

Michael

Damn! I had no idea anyone else even knew where Kempton was. . :-laf I live about 10 minutes from there. I was there but my evil children didn't allow me to stay very long. ;) I wish I had known you guys were there... . maybe next time.

The Kempton pulls were interesting. Brian, we were there for three days. Next time I'll let you know where we're camping. (and anyone else)

I pulled a pop-up camper to Kempton with my Dually. Didn't know if I'd make it pulling that much weight . .

Nick (Atvx4) and I talked about some of us getting together at one of the pulls.

The Bucks pulls are an option. Also, the Harford Fair and Wyoming County Fair are good places. What's the one in Waymart ?

Anybody that wants to meet up is welcome.

Unless something else crops up, I'd like to go to Bucks that weekend.

Also, for anyone that's interested . . we're going to the Bloomsburg Jamboree. We're getting a hotel, so we'll be there all weekend.

Bloomsburg 4x4 Jamboree, July 7-9, 2006

IRP was a blast. If you've never been there, you should plan for it next year.

A few weeks ago, HighFinance97 and I did some hop-up work for a possible PA TDC member. An ATS manifold and a Phat Shaft 66. Well... Mike did most of the work while I was drinking cheeseburgers in a can. Anywho .....

We set the timing on Mike's truck on Friday. Now that we have the experience with timing changes maybe we can help someone else.

Too late for you Ttbird. :D

Oh ya ... I had a miss at idle and part throttle. I always attributed it to the Hot Rod VP. But while at IRP, Scott and Ted from Mass Diesel as well as Dave Radz. said that it didn't sound right. ( Thanks guys :) )

So I picked up a set of injectors from Doug aka JetPilot. He had his PDW stand at Indy. And I changed the injectors to a set of Don M's right there in the parking lot.

The truck idles much better and runs better too.

Both of us should have our trucks inside.

If my cell phone ever dries out, you can give me a buzz when you're there.

I had it soaking wet at Indy and then again last night. I came home to find about a foot of water in the basement.

I was outside digging ditches at 1:00 am.

Bloomsburg is always a good time and im thinking this year will be no different. Anyone looking for us (myself, Dtroy, or Highfinance97) we will be able to be found. If you go in the main entrance (Main gate) and go just past the bathrooms and turn left we are usually the last grassy area on the right. Look for the 10'x20' white top sun tent. My Dakota will be there all weekend (hopefully).

Rob

I will be at the buck Pulling If i can get the charging problem on the 93 fixed. so i can trailer myself down

------------------------------------------------------------------------

499-0370

Michael

Mike, that's what I said. :-laf

Rob, glad to hear the Dakota is going to make it. And thanks for posting our location. I didn't know we had a set spot.

If I can remember to bring my sunshade too ... .

Is anyone else going to Bloomsburg ?? Post, call,or stop by the trucks. Don't be shy.
