I want to buy an OBD II Scanner for my truck. I want to get one that will work with my laptop. Any Advice as to which one is the best to get? I have checked out http://www.obd-2.com/ That site seems very confusing, and since they are on holidays until July 12 I think I will try someone else.

The scanner from http://www.auterraweb.com/ seems all right since it supports all vehicles unlike brand specific scanners from ProScan http://www.myscantool.com/

Any insight to this topic would be appreciated

I have the Actron 9135 that shows not only the code but the discription of the fault. Its small and needs no laptop. It is also upgradable to the CANS system. My buddies have used it more than me on thier non-dodge products. :D
