Nope the fuel or the "juice" was not the cause just plain ol highest Quality is job 1 crap Ford makes. Oh well I guess now its time for Nitrous,LP and Injectors, twin turbo's, roll cage, tub the thing and shoot for low 11's :D

Next week

The dealership intead of putting in a long block the are screwing me over and putting in a short block. I am about to quit my job over this I guess they think since I work there and I have had 3 claims in 14 days that I am trying to screw them over. Oh well Next week it arrives back in my hands I have alot of cleaning to do. When I get it done you all won't recognize the ol truck. I am taking the flames off no stickers it will just be your average turd Powerstroke.

Greg

I am going to be able to go to Kc on the 14th. I'am very interested to see what my first gen can put to the ground.

Greg I 'am sorry to hear how you are being treated. sure doesn't sound like any of your mods could have caused what broke.

The truck is back but it sounds so sick. I dunno whats up with it but in 15 miles i have used a quart of oil. I am a tad ticked off right now.

Talked to Mark today at MC Racing he said its around 65 bucks to dyno this time. SO I hope to see everyone there still!!!!Hopefully the weather holds out and its nice for the day. I kinda need a head count on who's dynoing so be thinking about it next tuesday is the deadline so if you dont put in a request we will try to keep a few spots open but they will be late in the day. So the out of towners get the first shots at this. So the local guys know this I will not allow out of towners to be bumped because you have other stuff to do its not fair they drive 2 to 5 hours to be here they also have to drive it home also. Also if it becomes a rain out the reschedule date is 2 weeks after the 14th. Just a update on what happening see ya there!!!

Greg

Greg you can count me in as an out of towner wanting to dyno my truck. By the way were is the dynoing going to be done at and at what time? Also its on Sunday the 14th correct? As I have not seen it posted. Thanks

October 14th is the date

Yes sir you are on the list we have 15 spots avalible and so far about 4 to 5 confirmed trucks. I have talked to mark I think 60 bucks is about the best its gonna be as far as price goes I am gonna see him tomorrow So I will know for sure. I know why thee is a price hike these trucks take alot more time to set up and dyno than a normal car. Its a pain getting a tach signal which we know from the last dyno day. Plus its a sunday and Mark works 7 days a week and spends little time with his family but hey I AM kinda sticking up for him but I want people to also understand the reasoning behind this. I hope there is still gonna be alot of trucks show up. I might get a wild hair and pull a rabbit out of the hat trick depends how motivated I get tomorrow. Anyways see ya all there!! Oh try to be there around 10AM I usually get there about 9AM and I am gonna try and get together and eat at 8AM at Denny's at the Stadium exit on I-70

Greg

I'll be there, and if you haven't "confirmed" me as dynoing please do so. The best I can do on arrival time is about 11am most likely, I'll leave right after I get off work Sunday morning at 7am.

You gotta see this hood... ... ... ..... it may not help on the dyno but I am postive it'll help me on the strip!!!!!! Is it supposed to rain tonight??? (I wanna run the truck)

Its not raining right now but it is Missouri. Um the price is 60 bucks I will be at the dyno around 9 AM for the early birds who get there. Look for me white truck somewhere close in a lawn chair asleep!

Greg

hey guys... WHATS THE ADDRESS??? I need to know if i'm going to come up... If you post directions you can count me as being there for a Dyno.

Thanks in advance.

Tom C if I remember, from southern part of K. C take I-35 north until you get to Johnson DR then get off and go west to merrium, and then go north about 1. 5 miles until merrium curves to the east, then keep looking to the north-left hand side of the road- for all of the diesel trucks. :D see ya there.

Hey Fellow Diesel Guru's Well it looks as though are BRO"s from St. Louis are kinda dwindling as far as attendence. I sure hope the dodge guys make the big showing. Last Time I was so Impressed with the fact the Dodge boys came and blew the Ford guys out of the water as far as attendence goes the First meet it was Adam and that was it. Adam as far as dynoing your truck goes I got you covered man!!:) No hand outs just a way of saying thanks for doing your part with sending out the invitation cards from the last meet and such It wouldnt be right if we didnt know what the beast did with the new "shower heads" and delivery valves. Gimmie a ring man I havent talked to you for a while awww the heck with it I am calling you right now.

Greg

Greg,

Sorry about being a hermit!

I've been busy tha past couple of weeks with work and doing some side work. Hopefully all the side stuff is done. I 'm thinking of putting those govener springs in saturday if you want to come up. I also need to wire in a switch for the TC. I e-mailed all the dodge boys that i had an address for. not to many are comming though. I will still have a good time if only a few show up.

Tring to talk my old man into comming with me.

Well i'll try to get a hold of you if you don't get a hold of me... . yea or something like that.

Is your truck still stock?

What did you do with your propane injection system

Adam

I was wondering if I need to wire in a switch to manualy lock the torque converter for a dyno run??

what will the dyno guy plug into my truck?? and where??

thanks in advance

I forgot bout it prolly won't lock up on the dyno... ..... bummer.

Oh well..... means I prolly won't see the magical 400 number... ... but guess I'll live :D

More anxious to get back to the strip then anything... with the hood and airdam..... I wanna see some more MPH!

Tom He won't really plug anything in. He has a magnetic pick-up that uses a little magnetic strip for a tach signal. Thats about it. As far as a Torque Converter Switch goes I would wire one up make sure it works before you come up and that should help you with a more accurate dyno run. Adam its all good man just was kinda wondering where you have been its not like you to not be right in the thick of things getting people drummed up to dyno and stuff. I think this dyno meet is falling on deaf ears. We have been having alot of people cancel. I think Chris is about the only on comming from STL. but he isnt dynoing. As far as my LP system goes its spread across the garage! Just sitting there waiting for me to reinstall it or sell it. Depends on what I do with my truck. Sell it or keep it. I am kinda in limbo right now. Well see ya all at the dyno Adam I will call you later. Eric Gimmie a ring later on this week.

Greg

I did not think about the TC switch util Adam just said something :( I prabably wont get a switch in before the dyno since I dont have the parts needed. I've read I need a relay, resister and such. I cant wire a switch direct without setting off a code! I'm in the same boat as Kat... . Bummer. :D

what if I disconnect the kickdown?? would this help the TC to lock at full throttle???
