took my dash apart today to replace some burnt out bulbs and when I put it all back together with the wires connected and everything, the odometer doesn't work anymore. It just won't turn to wheels. Still says the same mileage. Any suggestions?

I would say check your connections again. I know, you just LOVE the thought of that mess again. :rolleyes: :D Is your speedo broke, too?

I know you don't want to hear this but maybe it would be a good Idea to pull it apart and disconnect and reconnect. Maybe use some of that electro grease they talk about. Just a tiny bit.

I hate every time I have to work under the dash. Those cheesey plastic suckers with stripped screws and all.

One time I had mine apart for something and when I finished my radio didn't work. I said heck and drove it that way on several trips. Got to sleepy in the middle of the night and decided when I got home I would dig into it. Finally did and I couldn't get it to work.

So, I am wiggling and jiggling and testing and I can't find any power. It was one of those plugs with a ton of wires and everything color coded only I don't know the code.

Turned out to be the darn fuse!!!!!!!!!!!:{

I can't remember if there is a fuse for the speedo or not. I do know that if it doesn't work the Cruise control don't work ether.

Just some food for thought.

Weeellll... . looks like I'm just gonna have to tear it all up again. I'll just talk all the connections off, blow on them, clean em and kick em. That should do the trick, but after this afternoon, I go back to school and thats a long trip without registerting mileage if I can't it working. It's roughly 200 some odd miles or so. Thanks!
